We are pleased to announce an important milestone for Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory with the successful registration of our floating dry dock, SABER-1, under the UAE Flag.

This achievement marks a significant step forward in strengthening SABER-1's operational flexibility and commercial potential.

The transition from the Belize Flag to the UAE Flag delivers substantial savings in annual navigation licensing costs and removes additional costs previously associated with moving the floating dock between Emirates. In parallel, SABER-1 has received confirmation from the American Bureau of Shipping for its use across the GCC, further expanding its potential to support projects beyond Abu Dhabi and across the wider regional market.

Together, these developments enhance SABER-1's mobility, market reach and commercial competitiveness, supporting our continued growth in marine engineering and ship repair services.
